Happy Pool Bath!

The kitchen looks like a party. A Cantina? A patio scene from Mama Mia? Shouldn’t the Pool Bath be as happy as the kitchen it adjoins?

We started with paint.  Sherwin Williams 6765 Spa for the walls and SW 6341 Red Cent on the wall cabinet.

We switched out the bath mirror with a mirror from another room. Linda painted it white then I distressed it. I also distressed the freshly painted wall cabinet while I was still in destructo mode. Jane purchased pottery from a shop in McKinney– a small wall fountain to hold hand towels– and other interesting pieces.

At Lee Lighting I came across a funky hanging light which held promise to be even groovier with — yes — paint: SW 6681 Butter Up with spatters of  Cayene and Robin’s Egg Blue. One of the TAE electricians adopted the prior vanity fixture and took it to install in his home. It was a nice light fixture, just too serious for our purposes.
