Best of Both Worlds

Bedding, both elegant and comfortable.

The wife half of this Frisco couple wanted the MBR to be elegant, dramatic…. and comfortable. She did not want satiny, fussy bedding that was clammy to sleep under. Cotton was the fiber of choice. This homeowner wanted the best of both worlds. That would be a trick. Most cotton bedding looks quite casual.

At the Dallas January Market we found some fabulous cotton bedding with metallic accent stitching. We ordered a quilt, a duvet  and several pillows, requesting a bronzy gold accent stitching. At another showroom we found an upholstered headboard that matched our bedding well. Like, really well. They were made from the same fabric.

To dispel any question about whether our ensemble was a bed-in-a-bag we mixed in a pleated bedskirt and  Euro shams we constructed from a bronze cheetah print. Pretty convincing.
